KCSO Searching for Check First Cash Advance Armed Robbery Suspect

The Knox County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who robbed a North Knox County business Saturday afternoon.

According to the initial investigation, a white male with a utility knife entered the Check First Cash Advance, located at 7122 Maynardville Highway, around 11:11 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk. He fled in an unknown direction in a silver 2005-2009 Toyota Solara with dark tinted windows and possibly a sunroof after receiving an undetermined amount of money and ordering the clerk to the back of the store and into a room.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'11",-6'1", 225-235 pounds, mid 30s-mid 40s. He was wearing a light grey hooded jacket and blue jeans at the time of the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact KCSO's Major Crimes Unit at (865) 215-2243.
