12th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the 12th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 29th. “The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medication.”

Officers with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office will be at Farragut Pharmacy, located at 11424 Kingston Pike, and Riggs Drug Store, located at 604 E. Emory Road, on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to dispose of prescription drugs may bring them by either location.
