Weigel's Stabbing Suspects Arrested

A man and a woman responsible for Saturday night’s stabbing at a North Knox County gas station have been arrested. 57-year-old James Henry, Jr. and 41–year-old Christina May (both of Knoxville) were arrested in Cocke County this morning. They are accused of being responsible for a stabbing incident that occurred on January 27th at the Weigel’s, located at 1506 East Emory Road, that sent two people to the hospital. The arrests came following an investigation by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit that led to the identification of the pair. Warrants were obtained by the KCSO on Sunday and both were taken into custody following an early Monday morning 911 call to the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office.
 
Henry is charged with attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault. He will be held in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on a combined $215,000 bond. He has a criminal history in Knox County that includes attempt to commit simple possession/casual exchange, vandalism, worthless checks, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
May is charged with attempted first degree murder (facilitation) and aggravated assault (facilitation). She will be held in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility on a combined $125,000 bond.
