KCSO Searching for Attempted Child Abduction Suspects

Wednesday, 31 January 2018

The Knox County Sheriffs Office is searching for three Hispanic males who attempted to take an infant child this afternoon. Around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a woman reported that three Hispanic males grabbed her infant child in the parking lot of Walker Springs Apartments, located at 721 Walker Springs Road, in an attempt to take the infant. The mother resisted and retained her child. During the struggle, the womans personal belongings, including her purse, were taken. The suspects fled in what is described as a white sedan (possibly a Nissan) with a black hood and a red drivers side door. Neither the mother nor the child was injured during the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact KCSOs Major Crimes Unit at (865) 215-2243.
