Investigations by the Family Crisis Unit of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office have led to indictments for rape of a child.  Jefferson Kennedy, 21, is in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility charged with aggravated rape of a child and is being held on a $150,000 bond.   The KCSO Criminal Warrants Unit arrested Kennedy without incident Thursday afternoon.   His mug shot is not available at this time.

In a different case, an investigation by the Family Crisis Unit brought an indictment against James Alonso, 34.  He was already in the Detention Facility on a rape of child and now has another charge of child rape.  His bond is set at $75,000.
