KCSO Looking for West Knox Shooter

Wednesday, 28 March 2018

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man driving a dark colored 4 door car, possibly a Chevy, who shot at his ex-girlfriend this morning in West Knox County.  The incident started when the woman was pulling out of the Weigel’s at Middlebrook and Ball Camp after 9:00 a.m.  The black male continued to shoot at her as she drove on Ball Camp and stopped shooting when she was driving on Chertpit Road.  She pulled into the Weigel’s at Cedar Bluff and ran indoors for help.  She had been shot in the abdomen, but does not have life threatening wounds.  She’s being treated at U.T. Medical Center.

KCSO Officers do not believe the public is in danger because he was shooting at his former girlfriend and not at random cars.  More details will be released as they become available.
