Multiple Agencies Searching for West Knox County Bank Robbery Suspect

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) and the Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man who robbed The Tennessee Credit Union yesterday afternoon. According to the initial investigation, a white male entered the bank, located at 10431 Kingston Pike, around 1:45 p.m. He handed the teller a note and demanded money. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash, and he left the bank, walking westbound on Kingston Pike.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged white male, approximately 5’5”-5’8” and 200-220 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, a ball cap, and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

This matter is being investigated jointly by KCSO’s Major Crimes Unit and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. The FBI Safe Streets Task Force is comprised of the FBI, the Knoxville Police Department, and the KCSO.
