Volunteer Luncheon

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office said a big “Thank You” to its 140 volunteers at a luncheon Monday, April 25 at the Foundry.  During the past year volunteers contributed over 25,000 hours of service.  In terms of money, that’s a value of nearly half a million dollars!

Volunteers make up the SCAN Unit—Senior Citizens Awareness Network; VIP-Volunteers in Policing, and the Chaplain Corps.

If you are interested in volunteering, please call the Special Services Division at 215-5633.
