Research shows that the risk of a fatal crash goes up in direct relation to the number of teenagers in the car. Learn more about Tennessee’s GDL law and enforce it with your teens.

FATALITIES
125 fatalities in Tennessee last year involved a teen driver. Set aside time to talk with your teens about the dangers of speeding, distracted driving, and traveling without a seat belt.

Help your teen understand why seat belts are so important and that they must be worn every trip, every time.
SPEEDING
Teens who are monitored closely tend to speed less. Address speeding behavior by your teen driver and get involved in the learning-to-drive process.
