April 2, 2021 | Knoxville, Tennessee

Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler says KCSO Patrol Units were dispatched to the 4800 block of Horsestall Drive in Shannon Valley Farms subdivision just after 8:20pm to a possible shooting.

Upon arrival Deputies found one victim with a gun shot wound. The suspect was on scene and detained for questioning. Initial investigation reveals this is a potential domestic related incident. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office Family Crimes and Major Crimes Units are on scene and will conduct the investigation.

The victim was transported to a local hospital by AMR for treatment, condition is unknown at this hour.
We will update as more information becomes available.


The Victim is Gregory Davis of Knoxville and is at UT Hospital. (Unknown condition at this time)

Gloria Davis, 74 of Knoxville has been charged with Attempted 1st degree murder, her bond is set at $250,000.
