At approximately 3:30pm Knox County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Units were dispatched to a wreck involving a car and tractor on Karns Valley Road.
Upon arrival Deputies found the vehicle driven by Curtis Weaver II, DOB 10/28/1987 had been traveling South On Karns Valley. The tractor driven by Donald Raby of Knoxville was traveling North.
According to Sgt. Belcher the car driven by Mr. Curtis crossed the line and struck the tractor head on. Mr. Curtis was pronounced deceased at the scene. Notifications have been made to his next of kin.
Sheriff Tom Spangler asks that you keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as well as the driver of the tractor.
