Nicholas J. Phillips a Deputy with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office has been arrested this evening and terminated from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office effective immediately. The Family Crimes Unit will be in charge of the investigation, it is active and ongoing. Therefore, We will not be able to make any additional comments.
