Congratulations to Lieutenant Lisa Kidd, Captain Paul Cooper, and Captain Aaron Turner

Sheriff Tom Spangler would like to congratulate Lt. Lisa Kidd for recently becoming a Certified Corrections Executive. This is a prestigious achievement from the American Corrections Association. Lt. Kidd is only the second employee at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to obtain this certification. Lt. Kidd currently serves as the Accreditation Director at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility. Lt. Kidd’s hard work and dedication to her profession and to the field of Corrections is to be commended.


Sheriff Tom Spangler would like to congratulate Captain Paul Cooper, Knox County Jail Assistant Facility Commander and Captain Aaron Turner, Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility Assistant Facility Commander on their recent graduation a forty hour Jail Leadership Command Academy, hosted by Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and the American Jail Association. The course is specifically designed for agency leaders in the field of corrections. Both Captain Cooper and Captain Turner serve the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Knox County with honor and integrity. We are fortunate to have them call KCSO home.
