Knox County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Units were called to a home at 9000 Neely Lane just before 2:00 am for a male unresponsive, possibly suffering from a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival, Deputies discovered a male victim deceased. Deputies received information the suspect might be in the area and armed.

Deputies set up a perimeter and began searching. Deputies detained a potential juvenile suspect at 2:26 am. Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Major Crimes Unit, will lead the investigation.
